Cynthia Moen "Cindi" Borries

Cindi passed from this earth into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday 10/23/21 surrounded by her family after a short bout with Covid 19. She was born in Tioga, ND, raised in Galesburg, ND and was a graduate of Fargo High School. She was ordained as a Pastor in 1988 along with her husband Michael (Mike) Borries. Together, they have ministered to thousands of God’s people over the past 33 years. Mike continues as Pastor of Lighthouse Full Gospel Fellowship in Gulfport, MS and will miss his soulmate and fellow Minister greatly. Cindi has had a long and storied career in many fields including: Director of Keep Denver Beautiful for the Mayor of Denver, the Governor’s Summer Job Hunt for the Governor of Colorado, as well as Head of Security for VT Halter Marine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orin and Ruth Moen, her brother Lawrence Moen. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike Borries, Daughters Holly Shows (Jamie), Heather Murff (James), Granddaughters Ariel Borries, Devon Shows and Zoey Shows, brothers Skip Moen (Carrie), Carlton Moen, and sister Cecily Badding (Norbert) as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life service to honor her on Saturday 11/6/21 at 2:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Full Gospel Fellowship, 12161 Dedeaux Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
