Cynthia "Cindy" Therese Hester

Cynthia “Cindy” Therese Hester of Biloxi, MS passed away peacefully in her home on May 26, 2021 at the age of 69. Cindy was born on October 8, 1951 in Lawton, OK. She received her Bachelor’s degree in History and Education at the University of Southern Mississippi and went on to pursue her passion to teach History at Long Beach High School. Cindy was loved by many for her gentle, giving ways and unique and creative spirit. She was touched in some way by everyone who knew her and she will be sorely missed by everyone she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband David, parents Lee and Joyce, brother Timothy, and sister Sherry. She is survived by her son Clay, grandchildren Ethne and Sky, sisters Chardale Carroll (Mickey Hendricks) and Melanie Byard (Rusty) and her brothers David O’Dell and Terry O’Dell (Cheryl), many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs Cowboy and Sugar. She will be remembered in a celebration of her life at Camp Wilkes in Biloxi, MS on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 12:30 pm.
