Dianne Carriveau, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2021 in Ocean Springs, MS. Born in 1938, Dianne was the daughter of M. L. and Pauline Duncan of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School, Class of 1956. Dianne attended First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs. Married life brought her to Mobile, Alabama where she and her husband Billy Boyd raised their children John and Traci. Years later, Dianne’s marriage to Warren Carriveau brought his daugh-ter, Connie and son, Kenny into her life. Dianne relocated to Ocean Springs to be nearby family in recent years. A great Mom, Dianne’s life also included career highlights as a hairdresser and as a professional property manager. Her many friends in Tuscaloosa, Mobile and Ocean Springs will always re-member her contagious smile, style and gracious manner. Dianne’s life interests included playing piano, games with friends, becoming a master seamstress, travel adventures, and cooking fami-ly favorite recipes. Mrs. Carriveau was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Carriveau and his son, Kenny. Her precious dog, Duffy awaits her in the afterlife. Family cherishing Dianne’s memory include her brother, Buddy Duncan (Polly); son, John Boyd (Robbin); daughters, Traci James (Greg) and Connie Carriveau (Daniel); her beloved grandchildren, Kaili and Mark; and dear great-grandchildren, Scout, Finn, Margot and James Arthur. In lieu of flowers, Dianne’s family requests friends consider a donation in her honor to the Singing River Health System Foundation at 2101 Hwy 90 in Gautier, MS 39553 in support of their Hos-pice of Light and Cancer Center programs. The family also wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff of the Lighthouse Assisted Living facility in Ocean Springs for their dignified care. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Serenity Gardens in Mobile, Alabama. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Carriveau family.
