Donald Bernard LeNoble was well loved and will be sorely missed. On Saturday, December 21, 2019, he passed away at his home in Biloxi, MS. Don was born on November 4, 1939 in Little Chute, WI.
He served in the U.S. Army for over 30 years and retired at the rank of Command Sergeant Major (CSM). He was awarded the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Republic of Vietnamese Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm.
Don graduated from the United States Army Sergeant's Major Academy.
After retiring from the U.S. Army, he was a school bus driver for the Muscogee County School District (Columbus, GA) for 10 years while he waited for his wife to retire.
Once fully retired, Don and Susana sold their home in GA and lived in their motor home full time for 10 years before building their home in Biloxi, MS. He loved the times he spent with his family and friends. Don liked the outdoors and sports, specially playing "golf", racquetball, and hiking. He is an excellent card player and has a love/hate relationship with slots.
His parents, Charles Cornilius LeNoble and Isabelle Bessett LeNoble; and sister, Betty Schmidt preceded him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Susana Pingul LeNoble; children, Donald B. LeNoble II, Linda LeNoble and Jemma P. Urquhart; grandchildren, Robert V. Urquhart III, Thomas A. Pierce, and Ryan LeNoble Urquhart; siblings, Dorothy LeNoble, Delores Jacobs, Lawrence LeNoble, Lucille Harvey, Jeanette Stuhr, Joyce Desmond, Rosie Wudstruck, Paul LeNoble, Cathy Erdmnn, Shirley Beggs, and Leroy LeNoble.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit one-hour prior. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at the VA Biloxi National Cemetery.
