Dora "Nell" Myers

It is with extremely heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dora “Nell” Myers at the age of 78 years. She was born January 13, 1942 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to Jess and Alice Waltman. On June 25, 2020, she passed away peacefully. Our Earth angel spread her wings to reunite with the Lord; her husband, Roy Myers; parents, Jess and Alice Waltman; daughter, Linda Creel; brother, Alton Waltman; sister, Nancy Waltman; and many loved ones. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Wendy (Clint) Como, Martha (Bill) Pipkin, Mary “Pudy” (Jim) Lindstorm, and Martha Pritchard; beloved sons, John (Tena) Waltman, James Waltman, and Tony (Juanita) Waltman; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; very special friends, Meddie Waltman (Leroy), Shirley White and Tina Prevost; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and numerous close friends. She opened her heart to everyone she met. With her glorious smile and her open arms, everyone felt at home with her hugs. Visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Jim Ramsey Road, Vancleave, MS Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at the Vancleave Holiness Church on Kenneth Cole Road, Vancleave, MS where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
