Dr. Oliver Vaughan

Dr. Oliver Vaughan, 92, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Gulfport. Dr. Vaughan was born in Leland, MS. He was a devoted husband, father and brother. He was admired and respected by those that knew him or knew of him. He is now reunited with his wife Mary, his father Jasper, his mother Mattie Lou and his sister Elmore in our Lord's house in heaven. He was a good Christian man with strong faith and virtuous lifestyle. He succeeded and flourished in all life's challenges. He was a varsity football letterman at Mississippi State, a First Sergeant in the Army, a PhD from University of California, Berkeley and retired as a high-ranking executive at Miles Laboratories Pharmaceuticals in Elkhart, IN. Dr. Vaughan leaves his grieving children, Oliver Vaughan, Jr., Richard Vaughan, and Cynthia Vaughan Bishop, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They are comforted with the knowledge that he's with loved ones, with our Lord Jesus, and that we will be with him again. Private services will be held at a later date.
