TSgt. Earl Henry Landwehr, age 91, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, in Gulfport, MS. He was born in New Orleans, LA and had been a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. TSgt. Landwehr was a U. S. Air Force Veteran where he served as a Construction Engineer. During his military career he received many citations and awards including the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award with three Oak Leaf Clusters. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing his harmonica and he was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. But most of all he enjoyed family gatherings and seafood boils.
TSgt. Landwehr was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Burchard Landwehr and George H. E. Landwehr. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Carr Landwehr; his children, Corinne, Earl, Michael and Karl; ten grandchildren, Grace, Adena, Jessica, Ryan, Caren, Chris, Teresa, David, Connor and William; seventeen great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Payton, Seth, Issah, Rylee, Colvin, Andrew, Elise, Natalie Alex, Luke, Zach, William, Garrett, Corah and Mabel; and three great-great-grandchildren, Luna Grace, Willow, River. He is also survived by his beloved pets Rusty and Honi.
Private services will be held by the family and he will be buried at Biloxi National Cemetery.
