Ethel Rena Lepoma, age 90, of Biloxi, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
Mrs. Lepoma was born in Biloxi on April 21, 1928. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville and her faith was very important to her. Mrs. Lepoma raised four children with her husband, Vincent, but became a widow in her 40’s. She was an active 90 year old, and enjoyed various activities including assisting with the Lepoma family St. Joseph Altar every year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Lepoma; her son, Vincent J. Lepoma, Jr.; her parents, George Norton and Agnes Cannette; one brother, George; and three sisters, Rina, Grace and Dorothy.
Mrs. Lepoma’s survivors include her children, Mary Lepoma, Sherry (Jim) Branscum and Russell (Linda) Lepoma; her daughter-in-law, Doris Lepoma; her grandchildren, Kimberly (Billy) Harris, April (Chad) Broussard, Stacey Branscum, Mandy Williams, Michael (Melodie) Massey and Daniel (Lindie) Massey; her great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Hayley, Morgan, Camdon, Paige, Cole, Brooklyn, Hannah, Kate, Lauren, Logan, Danielle and Isaac; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special thanks to Sandy, Dawn, Susan, Linda and Darlene, who were all like daughters to her.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Father Dominic Pham for his words and comfort, to Notre Dame Hospice for their care and to Dr. Richard Smith for his care and concern during our mother’s illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
