Floyd “Buddy” Leroy Hudlow, 77 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on March 22, 2021 at his residence surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on November 9, 1943 in Phoenix, AZ to Floyd Hudlow and Audrey (Kent) Green. He graduated from Phoenix College and the University of Arizona. Buddy played professional football for the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills. After Buddy retired from the NFL, he had a long career in sales and the gaming industry. Buddy enjoyed playing golf, making model airplanes (WWII fighter planes), and watching his grandkids play sports.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Shan Hudlow; parents, Floyd Hudlow and Audrey (Kent) Green; child, Erin Hudlow; and sister, Patsy Leavitt.
He is survived by his children, Heather (Jeff) Flathau and Heidi (Chad) St. Amant; grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, and Heath Flathau, and Brady, Parker, and Alden St. Amant; and sister, Mary Lou Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude.
A Celebration of life will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Burial will be held in Phoenix, AZ.
