Hilda Mae King Payne

Hilda Mae King Payne, age 86, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Monday January 25, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Corbin, KY where she was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mt. Olive, MS, she was a daughter of the late D A King and Inez Clark King. Hilda was a former employee of Sam's Club in Gulfport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Payne; son, George Daniel Payne, and by a sister Joan Ladner. Hilda is survived by her children, Laura Rogers and husband Rev. Ralph Rogers; and George Payne and wife Tricia; grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Kelly and husband Jordan; William Rogers, Patrick Payne, and Rachel Payne, and by a sister, Shirley Shill. A graveside service will be at 11AM, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport. The family prefers memorials be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church (For children’s activities under the age of 14) P.O Box 1765, Corbin, KY 40701 Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, Mississippi is honored to serve the Payne family.
