Ida Beth McIntosh

Ida “Beth” McIntosh of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on July 17, 2019 in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born in Vicksburg, MS on July 2, 1940, to the late LDCR Charles James Barr and Sarah Elizabeth Mayfield Barr. Beth built a successful real estate business, McIntosh Realty and Associates, which she was broker/owner for over 30 years. She loved to read and spend time with her family. Before she fell ill she enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and working outdoors. She is preceded in death by her parents and previous husband, Ernest Lee McIntosh Sr. She is survived by her sisters, Sarah Jane (Tom) Douglas, Ellen Cooke (Johnny) Sneddon, and Rae Marie Barr, son, Ernest Lee McIntosh Jr., daughter, Alicia Beth (Ralph “Lex” III) Jackson, granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth (Logan) Wall and Cheyenne Yuna Monica Sherrin, great-grandson, Colin James Wall, numerous grandchildren, great-grand children, and nieces. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10 o’clock in the morning at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, MS. in lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to The Children's Ministry, First United Methodist Church of Gautier.
