Jacob Brice Latch

Jacob Brice Latch, age 38, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX. Jacob was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School, attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he met his wife, Katie and later graduated from the Mississippi State Fire Academy. He worked for 16 years at the Pascagoula Fire Department and medically retired as a Captain. Jacob enjoyed all things outdoors and watching Saints football. He was a devoted husband, loving father and loyal friend. Jacob is survived by his wife of 13 years, Katie: his children, Avery May (12), Olivia Claire (9) and Finley Grant (7); his mother, Cary (Mark) Agent; his father, Rickey (Jennifer) Latch; his siblings, Ann (Brian) Summerlin, Josh (Emily) Latch, Jonathon ((Michael) Byrd and Jessica Latch. He also leaves a beautiful crew of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Mosaic Church, 2016 Bienville Boulevard, Ocean Springs. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to either Tunnels to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) or to The EHE Foundation (fightEHE.org) Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Latch family.
