James Edward Kizzire

James Edward Kizzire, Jr. passed away on November 9, 2018 in Wiggins, MS after a long illness. He was 68 years old. A native of Gulfport, he spent most of his life as a resident of the South Mississippi Regional Center in Long Beach. He moved to the Wiggins Community Home in 2016. Jimmy was the son of James and Fay Kizzire of Gulfport, who preceded him in death. His grandparents were James and Ethelynd Baxley of Gulfport and Victor and Sarah Kizzire of Tuscaloosa. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Richard Hickey of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by his niece, Elizabeth Hickey and her husband, Jason Martinek, along with a great-niece, Anyce Martinek. Other survivors include Doris and Donald Townsend and Louise Nelson, his aunts and uncle. Graveside services will be held at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park where he will be buried beside his parents. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS is in charge of arrangements.
