Jason August Jakimczuk, 49, of Biloxi, MS passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Gulfport. Jason was born in Biloxi, MS on January 4, 1972. He graduated from Mercy Cross High School. Jason was a charter boat captain and plumber. He enjoyed Nascar races, fishing, boating and just being on the water. He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Jakimczuk; and his sister, Jennifer Jakimczuk. Jason’s survivors include his children, Mary Peyton Fowler and Jason Jakimczuk, Jr.; his stepdaughter, Hanna Peresich; his mother and stepfather, Kathleen and Bill Dellenger; his girlfriend, Shereen Markowitz; his sisters, Brooke Camp and Holly Dellenger; and his niece, Sophia Jakimczuk-Nolan. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to everyone who has shown support and prayed for our family during this most difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until service time. Jason’s urn will be placed with his sister Jennifer at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi is honored to serve the Jakimczuk family.
