Jerry Don Layton

Mr. Jerry Don Layton, age 86, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Gulfport, MS. Mr. Layton was born on September 21, 1934, in Grand Bay, Alabama, to Guy and Mae Layton. He retired from the United States Air Force and from Ingalls Shipbuilding and his hobbies included bowling. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Annie K. Layton and his parents, Guy and Mae Layton. Survivors include his children, Linda Johnson, Dianne Mitchell, Shirley Stewart, Jerry Layton, Steven Layton, Bobby Layton and Randy Layton, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his siblings, Neil Layton, Joe Layton, Guy Layton, Jr and Bill Layton. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 23, for the family,from 10am until 11am, for friends, from 11am until 12 Noon, followed by a short military service all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
