Jody Larry Jones

Jody Larry Jones, age 70, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Biloxi. Mr. Jones was a longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was a Marine veteran and served in the Vietnam war. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his father, Joe Jones; and brother, Johnny Jones. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Debra Landry Jones; children, Jodie Lynn (David) Knight, Christy Emrick and Jeremy Jones; grandchildren, Kaleigh Emrick (Daryl Handshaw), Lilli Knight and Aiden Jones; great grandchild, Aubree Austin; mother, Gert Jones; brother, Mike Jones; and sister, Susan Seymour. The family would like to thank Merit Health Biloxi ICU and Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home staffs for their care and concern. Services will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit one-hour prior at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home 675 Howard Ave. Biloxi, Ms. A private interment will be held at D’Iberville Memorial Park at a later date.
