Johanna "Lynn" Bui

Johanna “Lynn” Bui, age 55, of Biloxi passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Ocean Springs, MS. Lynn was born on July 2, 1963 in Biloxi, MS. She was a woman of many things. She was a very loving mother, grandmother daughter and sister. She was the kind of person to give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. To many people, her home was their Safe Haven. The door was always open and she made everyone feel welcome. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, John Joseph Chester and Allie Mae Chester; sister, Veronica “Ronnie” Nguyen; and brother, Ed Chester. Survivors include her husband, Ran Bui; children, Brian (Samantha) Chester, Skyler Bui, Jasmine Bui and Rianna Bui; grandchildren, Sariah Chester, Emma Chester and Brayden Chester; sisters, Carol (Doyle) Webster and Charlotte (Dave) Myers; brothers, Nolan (Judy) Chester and Mike (Cookie) Chester; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff in the MICU at Ocean Springs Hospital for their amazing care; also, to all our family and friends for all your support during this difficult time. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. Reception to follow at her home after the burial.
