Karen Ann Withrow (Speraw), 77, recently of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on June 2, 2021 of dementia. Karen was a native of Coalton/Glenroy Ohio and a longtime resident of Bradford and Piqua Ohio. She travelled extensively with her husband John when he was in the Navy with one of her favorite places being Sasebo, Japan. Karen worked for J.C. Penney of Piqua, Ohio and GTI of Greenville, Ohio. She had an infectious smile and always had time to chat. She loved spending time with her sons’ and daughter’s families and got a special kick out of visiting with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved watching movies. She was able to enjoy a cruise with Janice, Tamatha and Mary before dementia got too bad a hold on her. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Withrow, mother Leatrice Speraw (Haynes), father Harry Speraw, brother Marvin Speraw and grandson SrA Sean M. Morrissey. She is survived by her sister Mary Chambers of Greenville, Ohio and brother Curtis Speraw of Piqua, Ohio; daughter Janice (Doug) Morrissey of Gulfport, MS and their children Douglas “Andrew” Morrissey II (Alissa) of Lugoff, SC, Patrick Morrissey (Melissa) of Gulfport, MS and Kevin Morrissey (Devona) of Biloxi, MS; son John (Beverly) Withrow and their children Kaitlin Withrow and David Withrow of Bradford, Ohio; and son Jerry Withrow of Piqua, Ohio; Great-Grandchildren Cameron Morrissey and Kennedy Ferby; nieces and nephews, Martin, Tamatha, Tommy, Chris, Renee, Nick, Gary, Travis and Jill.
