Kathleen Louise Cassedy

Kathleen Louise Cassedy, age 63, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Ocean Springs Hospital after a long battle with Covid-19. Katie was born on July 21, 1957 in Xenia, OH to Thomas Cassedy and Sally Elliot. Katie attended college for three years and was a chef and aesthetician. She brought a smile to everyone she met. Katie had a passion for cooking and making jewelry, and working as an aesthetician brought her great joy. She also liked watching Notre Dame, LSU, and New Orleans Saints football. Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Joseph Cassedy and Sally Elliot Racheford and her brother, Kevin “Casey” Cassedy; Survivors include her sister, Sheila (Grover C.) Thurman of Frisco, TX; brother, Daniel (Michelle) Cassedy of Spring, TX; nephew, Kevin (Trish) Thurman of Dallas, TX; nieces, Kayla Pommerville of Houston, TX, Carlin Cassedy of League City, TX, Kelan Cassedy of League City, TX, and Savannah Cassedy of Spring, TX. She will be greatly missed by her longtime partner, Paul Gilbert of Ocean Springs, MS. No services will be held. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Cassedy family.
