Kenneth Joseph Thibodeaux, 78, passed away peacefully in his home of 55 years surrounded by his children. Kenny was born April 2, 1939 to Eula and Pierre Thibodeaux. He grew up on the point in Biloxi, standing beside his mother as a child as she worked in the seafood factory. He was a quiet, dry humored man that loved to fish with his buddies, especially the Rapala kids. He did NOT love yard work, but did it so lovingly with his wife Barbara. He retired from Northrup Grumman in 2000 and was able to enjoy a brief retirement before becoming the caregiver for his wife until she passed. He never complained, even in the face of terrible pain, difficult times, heartbreak …never once. He loved to watch MASH, All in the Family, SVU, and football, especially the Saints. Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Barbara; parents Eula and Pierre Thibodeaux; sister, Lucy Waites; brother, Raymond Thibodeaux; and nephew and friend, Raymond Thibodeaux, Jr. Survivors include his children, Lori Ladner, Kenneth Thibodeaux, Jr., and Christopher (Amber) Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Chelsea King, Jansen Broussard King, Hunter Paige Thibodeaux, Greyson Thibodeaux , and Cole Thibodeaux; along with brothers and sister-in-law’s, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
