Laurie "LaLa" Marie Lees-Cavalier

Laurie “LaLa” Marie Lees-Cavalier, age 58, of Biloxi, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Laurie was born on September 22, 1960 in Waukegan, IL. She attended Pearl River Junior College where she obtained her LPN. She was the President/CEO of Nursing Management, Inc., which opened in 1988. Laurie was extremely generous with charitable organizations such as: Make A Wish, Special Olympics, American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Alzheimer’s Association, Humane Society of South Mississippi and Breast Cancer groups. In her spare time, she enjoyed boating, cooking, and spending time with her two sons and her two grandchildren. Laurie is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Virginia Lees; father-in-law, Gus Cavalier; grandmother, Dina Mladinich Kuljis; and brother, Michael Lees. Survivors include her husband, Joel Cavalier; sons, Thomas M. Graham (Kristina) and Jesse E. Kittrell; grandchildren, Magara and Thomas Graham; mother-in-law, Frances Cavalier; siblings, Tommy Lees, Bradley Lees and Karen Lees; and her dachshunds, Dick, Jane, Jasmine, Midge and Abby. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 11:30-12:30 p.m.
