Leon “Lonnie” James Duvall III, age 59, of Biloxi, MS, passed from this life on March 4, 2019 in Biloxi.
Lonnie was born in Biloxi into a traditional fisherman family that instilled in him a lifelong love of the water. He worked off-shore from his early years until 1986, he also worked for Weems Bros Seafood and Young Packaging. He owned and captained a shrimp boat, the “Tiffany Elizabeth”. Lonnie loved spending time with his family and friends. His passions were fishing, throwing the cast net, and playing the guitar. His was a life full of love and he will be greatly missed.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Leon James Duvall Jr.; his mother, Amelia “Chee Chee” (Guiher) Scarborough; and his Son-in-law, Thomas Wilke.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38yrs, Elizabeth “Beth” Duvall; daughters, Tiffany Elizabeth Duvall Domingues and Erin Christine Duvall; son, Dustin Allen Duvall; grandchildren, Paige Forshee, Miranda Duvall, Michael Domingues, Tristin Domingues, Nicholas Duvall, Dominic Duvall, and Lexi Rose Lee; two brothers, Dwayne Duvall and Grayson Duvall; and numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Elizabeth Duvall, P.O. Box 693, Biloxi, MS 39533 for Leon James Duvall III’s final expenses. Please join Lonnie’s family for a Celebration of Life to be held from 2-4 pm on Sat. March 9th at 352 Reynoir Street, Biloxi, MS 39530.
