Lillian Ruth White

Lillian Ruth White, age 77, of Gulfport, MS passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at her residence in Gulfport. Lillian was born on September 5, 1941, in Bunkie, LA. She attended high school in Iowa and college in Louisiana. She was employed as a Sunday school teacher and bookkeeper. Her hobbies were crafts, being with family and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Bingley Sandifer and Gladys Sandifer; grandson Lance Parker Jordan; and a great grandchild. Lillian is survived by her spouse, James David White; children Teresa Schultz (Terry), Malinda Pace, Dena Munday (Roger); 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; sibling Dr. Leamon Sandifer (Mary); and pet Suzzie Q. The family would like to thank Exceed Physical Therapy and Kare In Home Hospice. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. There will be a reception at 14258 Bienville Drive, Gulfport, MS following the service.
