Lincoln Monroe Wise

Mr. Lincoln Monroe Wise, age 78, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018. Lincoln served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 until 1961. He worked as a carpenter for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jackson County Campus, from 1982 until 2004. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vancleave and a lover of cars, electronics and practical jokes. Lincoln was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Lincoln and Alice Lorraine Wise. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Sara Ann Davis Wise, daughters, Kathy (Neil) Russell and Donna Creel, grandchildren,Deanna (Corbin) Behnken, Brice Creel, Travis (Madison) Russell, Autum (Josh) Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Kirin and Heidi Behnken, numerous nieces and nephews, sister, Carol Jones-Havens and brothers, Jerry (Mary) Wise, Paul (Beverly) Wise and Tony Wise. Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a 12:00 p.m. memorial service, all at First Baptist Church of Vancleave. Interment will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request memorial offerings be made to the First Baptist Church of Vancleave, Building Fund, P.O. Box 5187 Vancleave, MS 39565. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
