Linda Mary Davi

Linda Mary Davi, 77, of Glenwood NJ, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband Richard of 58 years and family, Saturday, January 23, 2021. Raised in Elmwood Park NJ to Dorothy and Alfred Ferraro, she was one of eight children; Lois Wright and husband Bill, Barbara Procko and husband Paul, Fred Ferraro and wife Patricia, Len Ferraro, Paul Ferraro and wife Rose; she was preceded in death by her brothers Jack and James Ferraro. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and family friends. She graduated with the class of 1961 from East Paterson Memorial High School. Linda and Richard were blessed with 5 children; Gina, Crista and husband Keith Coppers, Joy and husband Joseph Sevean, Jennifer and Ricardo Camarena; she was preceded in death by her infant son Anthony; cherished grandmother of Zachary and Jonathan, Emily and Matthew, Sophia and Ava, Mia Sofia and Cristiano Ricardo. Linda made it a priority to spend as much time as she could with each one of her grandchildren, memories they will cherish forever. Linda was an extraordinary person with a beautiful loving heart who touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be forever remembered as an inspiration of her faith and devotion to Jesus, and to her husband, children and grandchildren. Her sweet spirit guided the lives of so many with her compassion, love and generosity. Cooking was one of the ways she expressed her love. She believed the kitchen is the heart of the home; her meatballs were everyone’s favorite. She felt being a caretaker and homemaker for her family was her most important role of all. She had a great sense of humor, was so much fun and had an amazing spirit of adventure. She loved and recognized the beauty in everyone and made you feel special. She had a beautiful voice and she loved to sing. A private family service was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Gulfport, MS. Forever thankful to Dr Tayara, the beautiful angels of St Joseph’s Hospice, Gulfport MS, Deacon Henderson, Father Ryan, our family and friends who were so loving and supportive to Linda & Richard, their daughters and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please donate to Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation; in memory of Linda Davi https://www.aarbf.org/usapay/ Linda was a burn survivor herself, this non-profit organization was very special to her.
