Linda Marie Leger

Linda Marie Leger, age 64, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at home. Linda was born on April 13, 1956 in New Orleans, LA, to Kenneth Waits and Carolyn Rink. She was a housewife and loved gardening, family gatherings and watching hummingbirds. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Waits, mother, Carolyn Rink and siblings, Loretta Leger, Dennis Waits, Kenneth Waits, Jr and Jenny Lynn Waits. Survivors include her husband, Leo Leger, children, Stacey Izaguirre, Donna Stevens, Leo Leger Jr., William Leger, Juanita Leger, Brandon Leger and Travis Leger, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and siblings, Margie Shaw, Mark Sanchez and Raz Waits. Visitation will be on Friday, January 8 from 5pm until 6pm, with a 6pm Celebration of Life Memorial Service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
