Linda Sue “Susie” Whitley Keenum, age 74 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Ocean Springs, MS.
She was born August 4, 1946 in Flint, MI. She attained a Bachelors Degree in the Civil Service. She was devoted to the Relay for Life- Camp Bluebird, red hats society- Sassy Cats, and was involved in the AKC German Sheppard Association. She worked in the 29 Palms CA Marine Corp Base, 815 Weather Reconnaissance, 403rd Squadron Division, and Keesler AFB Hurricane Center. She was a devoted military wife of the Marine Corp, mother, grandmother, and wife for fifty-seven years. She loved to travel, shop and play on her computers, ride horses, her family and spending quality time with them, and her faith and catholic upbringing. She was a six-time cancer survivor.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lura Mary Dean Moore and LaVerne Martin Whitley; grandchild, Danielle Victoria; grandparents, Herbert “Herb” Richard Moore and Mary “Molly” Eleanor (Moore) Connors; siblings, Tommy Wright and Barbara Wright.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Larry Keenum, Sr.; children, Tracy Lynn (Buddy) Ladnier, James LaVerne Keenum, Dr. Charles Larry (Carrie) Keenum, Jr., and Rusty Lee (Victoria) Keenum; grandchildren, Holly Rochelle Ladnier, Matthew Ernest Ladnier IV, Jessica "Jesika" Marie Ladnier, Charlie Ladnier, Rebeccah Breanne (Chase) Campbell, Abigail "Abby" Marie Keenum, Judah Abraham Keenum, Benjamin Alexander Keenum, Carlene Claire (Nathen) Boswell, Gabrielle Marie Zimmerman, Cheyenne Danielle Keenum, Hailey (Jonathan) Mize, James Aaron Keenum, Joshua William Keenum, and Johnathon Edward Keenum; great-grandchildren, Kyle McDaniel, Bailey McDaniel, Arlo Campbell, Holden Campbell, Nicholas Noble, Makayala Noble, Jared Noble, and William Ladnier; sisters, Mary Ann Crowe and Sandra “Sandy” Ducharme; and extended family members of the Litt, Moore and Walden families.

Loving family members will serve as pallbearers.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a mass at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 all at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. The services will be livestreamed through Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes' Facebook Page. Burial will follow at the VA Biloxi National Cemetery. A reception will be held at the VFW 5699, Ocean Springs, MS, Gulf Seashore Park.
