LTC William H. Hammond, Jr. US Army Retired

LTC William H. Hammond, Jr. US Army Retired, age 90, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away at his home Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, of 46 years; sister, Joyce (Bill) Jennings, of Frankfort, KY; brother-in-law, Paul (Kelisa) Buchanan, of Marble Falls, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to SouthernCare Hospice Services for the outstanding care and compassion their staff provided to William. Also, a special thank you to Tiffany Strickland, RN, for all of her wonderful and professional care and support. Interment will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
