Margie Elaine Rose

Margie Elaine Rose, 92, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Biloxi. Mrs. Rose was born May 10, 1928 in Liberty, MS to Hollis and Dorothy Longmire Crum. She graduated from nursing school in McComb, MS and was a registered nurse. Mrs. Rose was employed with the Mississippi State Sanatorium. She enjoyed golfing, football and dancing. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Louis H. O’Bannon and Charles Frances Rose; her parents; her daughter, Ruth Carol O’Bannon; and her sisters, Camille Honea, Margaret Rogers, Jenilyn Hall and Jo Evelyn Bozung. Mrs. Rose’s survivors include her children, Richard T. (Victoria) O’Bannon; six grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Magee Cemetery on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 11:00 am. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi is honored to serve the Rose family.
