Marie C. Beech

Mrs. Marie C. Beech, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Mrs. Beech was born in Charleston, SC. She met and married the love of her life, Clarence Aulton Beech, in Alabama. After his military retirement the family moved to Ocean Springs where they opened and operated a business, Sports Shack. Mrs. Beech retired after 40 years as a registered nurse. They were faithful members of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. She was a member and board member of the Hibernia Marching Society, and often celebrated her Irish Roots. Mrs. Beech was preceded in death by her husband and three sons, Chuck Beech, Michael Allen Beech and Jack Beech. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Beech Behanna (David Brown), of Rosharon, TX, son, Steve (Nancy) Beech of Ocean Springs, TX and grandson, Mike Beech. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, from 10am to 11am, with an 11am Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
