Marilyn Galle, age 88, of Biloxi, MS passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Biloxi. Marilyn was born, raised and lived all her life in Biloxi. She graduated from Sacred Heart Girls Academy in 1947, where she was Class Valedictorian and retired from KAFB Civil Service. Marilyn was an active member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Biloxi where she played the piano and organ for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules Galle, Jr. and Grace Galle; her grandparents, Jules Galle, Sr. and Rita Moran Galle; and her special nephew, Paul “P.O.” Galle, Jr. Marilyn’s survivors include her brothers, Jules (Connie) Galle and Paul (Judy) Galle; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to extend many thanks to the staff of Serenity Springs Nursing Home in Ocean Springs for their excellent and loving care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity BVM Cathedral on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
