Mary Ann Papania Carmack

Mary Ann Papania Carmack, 65, of Gulfport passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 in Gulfport. She was born in Gulfport and had been a resident for all of her life. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Carmack; parents, Joseph Anthony Papania and Callie Marie Morgan Papania; a sister, Nellie Papania Garcia and brother, Bobby Joe Papania. Mary Ann is survived by a sister, Joyce Papania of Gulfport; daughter, Cynthia Carmack Chaney of Long Beach; a son; Larry Carmack Jr. and a companion, Albert De Los Santos. Her surviving grandchildren are Aaron, Breanna, Brooklyn, Callie, Jada, Joseph, Jordan, Larry, and Tyler and several great-grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport where friends may visit one hour before at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
