Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Beach Bosarge

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Bosarge, 81, passed away at home Saturday morning, January 12, 2019. Mrs. Bosarge was born in Castle Rock, WA, July 12, 1937. She moved to Vancleave at the age of 3, where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a member of Bonnie Chapel United Methodist Church in Vancleave, where she served on many committees and was past chairman of Board of Trustees. She was a life member of Vancleave Chapter No. 300 Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking for her large family, and working in her flower beds. She is preceded in death by her parents, Teresa Woodman Grace and Herald Beach; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clarence and Vennie Bosarge; daughter-in-law, Johnette Bosarge; son-in-law, Dean Reiter; and grandson, Kaleb Vallandingham. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gerald. She is also survived by her 7 children, Paul Bosarge, David (Charleen) Bosarge, Greta (Mark) Thornton, Angelia (Jimmy) Vallandingham, Lisa (David) Fairley, Kathy (Rusty) Williamson, and Todd (Emily) Bosarge. She has 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Mrs. Beth Forehand and Mrs. Valerie Ely, and her Southern Hearts Hospice nurse April and aide Rachel for their tender loving care. Funeral Services will be held at Bonnie Chapel United Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave #2 Cemetery. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
