Mary Nell Emile

Mary Nell Emile, 83 of Ocean Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by family December 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clorena Kates, her Father, Leander Hoda, and her sister, Inez Rudloff. She is survived by her children, Sandra Dubaz, Sharon (Don) Langham, George (JoAnn) Emile, Connie (Pat) Firmin, Wayne (Angie) Emile, Cindie (Jamie) Griffin, and Shari Emile. She loved and adored her 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She instilled her Christian faith into her children and grandchildren and her love for animals. She had an infectious laugh and smile and she never met a stranger. All who met her, loved her gentle and compassionate spirit. She got her G.E.D and college education at the age of 50, graduating with an Associates of Science in Humanities. She was a clinical director for The Lord is My Help in Ocean Springs for many years. Her legacy of unconditional love for all will live on. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral on Howard Ave. in Biloxi. Friends may visit from 9:30am-11am. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make donations to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in her memory.
