Mary Ellen Bradshaw Grantham

Mary Ellen Bradshaw Grantham went to her permanent home in Heaven on November 29th, 2018. Born in Poplarville, MS on July 30, 1932, she moved to Lucedale, MS with her parents and siblings. At the age of 18, she married Ernest Glenn Grantham and they were married 59 years residing in Gulfport, MS since 1980. Mary loved gardening, cooking, was an active member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport, the Senior Adult Choir and she was a member of the Red Hats Society of Gulfport. She loved dogs and watching birds, watching the Food Network and football. She was a big fan of the New Orleans Saints, Mississippi State and The University of Alabama. She is survived by her daughter Glinda G Lathan (Ted), grand dogs, Leia & Kasey, numerous beloved nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Glenn Grantham, her son Steven Ernest Grantham, her parents Bennie Bradshaw and Jessie Shoemake, siblings Burdette Bradshaw, Catherine Wright, Helen Vise and Henry Bradshaw. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church of Gulfport, MS or your favorite charity. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
