Mary Jane Marsland

Ms. Mary Jane Marsland, our precious and loving mother, passed away peacefully today with family by her side, December 9, 2020. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, always putting their needs ahead of her own. The consummate mediator, she was the glue that held our family together. Late in life she began a new career as the Municipal Court Clerk for Long Beach, MS, where she made her presence felt for more than twenty years prior to retiring in 2018. She was loved and respected by all who knew her, and she had a lasting impact on the lives she touched. She is survived by her three children, their spouses, and her beloved grandchildren - Christine and Michael Forsgren with son and grandchild Allen Crosby Harris and daughter and grandchild Michaela Forsgren; Keith and Terese Marsland with son and grandchild Nathan Marsland; and David and Jonna Marsland with daughter and grandchild Emma Marsland and son and grandchild Chandler Marsland - along with all of her nieces, nephews, and cousins. A lifelong Christian, our Mother is joining her family in Heaven and will be forever missed. She was a loving, caring, wonderful woman who touched us all in so many ways. There are no words to express our sorrow, but we rejoice in knowing she has moved on to eternal life with our Lord and Savior. Services for Jane will be private, conducted by immediate family members per her wishes. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is honored to serve the Marsland family.
