Mary Catelyn Wright Strempler

Mary Catelyn Wright Strempler, age 22, passed away on January 28, 2020 in D’Iberville, MS. Mary was born on July 21, 1997 in Rolla, MO. She was a long-time resident of Ocean Springs, MS. She graduated from OSHS with Honors and played the clarinet in the band. Mary studied to be an Emergency Medical Technician at MGCCC in 2015. She enjoyed her career of Pet Grooming, both at her family business, Love My Pets, as well as PetSmart and in her free time she interacted on social media and went to social activities. Mary is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gloria Draper, Charles Golder, Sherry Erwin, and William Strempler; and her sister, Sarah Strempler. She is survived by her mom, Frances Golder; her dads, Christopher Ausburn and Russell Strempler I; grandparents, Larry and Ginger Dowling; siblings, Chassity Strempler, Russell Strempler II, Cheyenne Angell, Frank Angell, River Strempler, Cody Cherry; her adoring nephew Ashton Cherry; and by her pets, Onyx, Toby the Great, and Gus. The family would like to extend a thank you to the D’Iberville Police Department, D’Iberville Fire Department, and Chris Ausburn, for his quick thinking and action and for always being strong. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations through the GoFundMe account or through Bradford-O’Keefe to help with the cost of services. A service will be held at 1:00 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS on Sunday, February 9th, 2020. Close friends and family may visit one-hour prior.
