Mary Eloise Welch Reyer

Mary Eloise Welch Reyer, 88 years old of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her home in Gulfport. Mary was born February 13, 1932 in Gulfport, Mississippi to her parents, Clarence and Susie Welch. She attended Gulfport High School. Mary worked as a secretary at First Assembly of God in Gulfport for 40 years. She worked at Woolworths. She also worked for her Daddy, “The Popcorn King”, Clarence at his popcorn stand on 13th Street for 48 years. Mary was heavily involved in church activities and was dedicated to her great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased in death by her parents, Clarence and Susie Welch. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Hilton (Ed); her grandchildren, Jennifer Cissell; her very special granddaughter, Amanda Kressin, Mark Hilton and Rebecca Hilton; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Mildred Dubuisson; and her brother, Freddie Welch (Debbie). The Funeral Service will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Gulfport on January 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Visitation starts at noon until the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, is honored to serve the Reyer family.
