Melonie DuBois

Melonie DuBois, 67, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 with her daughter by her side. Melonie was a native and lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville. To her family, Melonie was a Superwoman. She constantly put others before herself, and fiercely loved her family, with whom she spent time with at every opportunity. Everywhere that she went she spread nothing but smiles, laughter and a sense of warmth that will be so dearly missed. Melonie always knew just what to say, to put your heart and mind at ease. She was unmatched with her wonderful cooking and could make just about anything out of nothing taste delicious. Melonie would have sacrificed her life for the happiness of her daughter Angela and her beautiful grandchildren, Jordan and Riley. She was married to the absolute love of her life, her soulmate, Eldon DuBois, for 46 years, whom she so dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eldon DuBois; her parents, Marco and Fern Glavan; and her sister, Donlyn Krohn. Melonie’s survivors include her daughter, who was her heart and soul, Angela (Ronnie) Johnson; her two beautiful grandchildren, Jordan and Riley Johnson, whom she adored like no other; her sisters, Ella Glavan and Lynn Brown; her nephews, Mark Brown and Chris (Jennifer) Krohn; her great-nephew, Jude Krohn; and her great-niece, Camille Krohn. She also leaves behind many special and dear friends who will miss her so very much. Her memory will forever be cherished, her smile will never fade and her kind heart will never be forgotten. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Allison Wall and her staff for their compassion, care and love for Melonie over the last three years. Private services will be held. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the DuBois family.
