Michelle Renee Schneider

Michelle Renee Schneider, age 59 of Pass Christian, MS passed away in Gulfport, MS on Friday, December 11th, 2020. Michelle was born in England. After traveling with her family in the Air Force, they settled in Ocean Springs, MS. She graduated from St. Martin High School and attended college at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She enjoyed her work of being a manager of Human Resources at Casino Magic until Hurricane Katrina. Following the hurricane, Michelle was promoted to Director of Human Resources at Boomtown Casino in New Orleans, Louisiana. Michelle’s hobbies included painting, crafting and doing anything outdoors, around the water. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Michelle is the beloved daughter of John and Isabella Stahlhut. She is the proud mother of Stephanie and Truong Nguyen, Chad Mead and fiancé Lisa Galeazzi and Jared Schneider. Her grandchildren include Conner, Cayla, Cambry Nguyen, Blaine and Archer Mead, Brandon and Sophia Judy. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Bernie Schneider. Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman and Grace Stahlhut and Frederick and Isobel Potter. She was also predeceased by Terry Mead, father of Stephanie and Chad Mead, her brother, John Mark Stahlhut, and husband Brad Meier. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
