Morris Faurie, Sr., age 83, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 after a long illness.
Mr. Faurie was born on July 10, 1937 to Oliver and Georgette Faurie and was baptized into the Catholic faith. He was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. Early in life he found his love of carpentry, and so began his long career as a general contractor. Morris never met a stranger and will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him as a strong, yet kind and gentle man who was always there to lend a helping hand. His bright blue eyes and sweet smile will be greatly
missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Ethel Faurie Bosarge, and grandson Julian Zimmerman.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Ladner Faurie, his sons Michael (Angie) Broussard and Morris (Melissa) Faurie, Jr., his daughters Sharon (Ricky) Ruiz, and Victoria Faurie, his stepchildren Sharon Bourgeois and Chip Landry, his brother-in-law Ronnie Bosarge, his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
