Moyra "Ms. Jean" Dickens went to heaven on Wednesday August 18th, 2021. Jean was 90 years old.
Ms. Jean was born to Alexander Horne and Margaret Brown in Albany, Ontario, Canada. Jean was a resident of Biloxi, MS for the last 46 years. She was a dedicated mother and wife. Her unconditional love for her family was evident in all her actions. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Michael Williams, Paige Williams and Gabrielle Sullivan. She had an infectious smile and was always quick to laugh and enjoy life's moments and memories. Ms. Jean enjoyed spending time with her wonderful friends and neighbors. She enjoyed shopping, dinner, or a night of Bingo, also a birthday lunch or a nice buffet. Jean was a very sociable friend to all.
She had many hobbies including painting, crochet, gardening, and reading. She was a wonderful dancer and participated in many shows while in Germany.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Horne; her sister, Joy Aylott; and her husband, George Dickens.
She is survived by her three children, Kathleen Williams, Helen Dickens and James Sullivan.
Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
