Mrs. Barbara Bostick Sherrard

Mrs. Barbara Bostick Sherrard, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Ocean Springs. Barbara was born July 25, 1945 in Cuthbert, GA and moved to Abbeville, AL in the mid 50’s. She graduated from Abbeville High School in 1963 and from the Mobile Infirmary in 1966 as a registered nurse. Barbara retired after 33 years of civil service from Keesler Medical Center in 2001. She was preceded in death by her father, James Louie Bostick; her mother, Willie Inez Whatley; and her brother, Lindon Oneil Bostick. Barbara was survived by her husband of 44 years, Mr. Robert D. Sherrard, III; and her sons, John Michael of Humbolt, TN and David Paul Sherrard of Ocean Springs, MS. A visitation for Barbara will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile, AL from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sherrard family.
