Nancy Hope Baker Faul

Nancy Hope Baker Faul, 55, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones and dearest friends, both near and far, at Ocean Springs Hospital. She fought a long hard fight with end stage renal disease, as well as other terminal complications stemming from diabetes. Nancy was a life-long resident of Woolmarket, MS, graduating from D’Iberville High School in 1984. After high school, she also furthered her education at MS Gulf Coast Community College. Nancy was a loving, extremely devoted wife and mother. She was a special person with a huge, caring soul, always thinking of others first / extending a helping hand out to a brother or sister in need, in the name of Jesus. (Matthew 5:42 / Colossians 3:17) She was a member of First Baptist Gulfport, and volunteered through the church’s many community outreach programs (VBS, Intramural Sports, etc), sharing the gospel corporately, in addition to through her own individual walk of life. Nancy held several job positions throughout her career, in food service industry, accounting, charitable organizations, et al, and was a very effective manager - those management skills allowed her to succeed no matter what she was doing. She also had a gift for writing / photography, and has been published in several local publications as a freelance writer over the years. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Baker; her mother, Ruth Baker; and her brother, David Baker. Nancy is survived by her loving and caring husband of 23+ years, Carlos Faul, Jr, and her precious daughter, Claire Ellen Faul, both of Biloxi, MS.
