Nunzio "Nute" Caranna

Nunzio “Nute” Caranna, age 59, of Gulfport died Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Gulfport. He was born in Gulfport and was graduate of Gulfport High School and attended USM. He enjoyed fishing, boating and visiting with his friends at the “Belly Up Bar”. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony J. Caranna; and his spouse, Jerrie Nadine Caranna. He is survived by his mother, Henrietta E. Caranna; his children, Conner Nunzio Caranna and Courtney Anne Caranna of Saucier and Cory Joshua (Kinsey) Caranna of Denham Springs, LA; and siblings, Dudley “Joe” (Diani) Caranna, Anthony J (Darlene) Caranna, Jr, and Teresa C. Egerter. The funeral service is Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport. The family wishes to thank Dr. Olivia Hightower and her staff at Memorial Hospital, Gulfport and Kare in Home Hospice personnel.
