Peter Bang

Peter Bang, 72, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Bang was born February 26, 1948 in Vancleave, MS to Werthem “Slim” and Lillie Bang. He was a retired landscaper. Mr. Bang enjoyed spending time with his daughters, fishing and riding four wheelers. He was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Ann Bang and Amanda Bang; and a host of brothers and sisters. Mr. Bang is survived by his daughter, Sheila Bang; seven grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Clara Triolo, Ruby Tanner, Virginia Baxter, Carl “Rabbit” Bang, Willie Band, Norman Bang and Clyde Ely; and Sheila Christine Waltman, who was like his child to him. A Go Fund Me account has been set up to assist the family with funeral expenses. Funeral Services will be held at Vancleave Holiness Church on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave Holiness Church Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve this family.
