Phillip Wayne Capps

Phillip Wayne Capps, age 66, of Ocean Springs, MS, went to be with our lord on Sunday, April 21 2019. Wayne was a pipe welder at Ingalls shipbuilding where he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Ida Capps, brothers, Charlie, H.W. and Jerry Capps, sister,Shirley Tucker, and beloved son, Matthew Capps. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Debbie Capps, daughters, Beverly(Peter) Lee and Heather(John) Tucker, all of Ocean Springs, MS brothers, Rodney and James Capps of Amory, MS and sister, Brenda Salinas of Lockhart ,Texas. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Zachary, Shelby Lee, Taylor, Wayne, Thomas and Rachel Tucker,numerous beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, a great-great-great-niece and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be on on Wednesday, April 24, from 6pm until 8pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Thursday, April 25, there will be an 11am chapel service in the funeral home.
