On Thursday, November 21, 2019, Raymond "Ray" Joseph Migues III, loving father of three children and grandfather of two, passed away at the age of 56.
Ray was born on September 25, 1963 in Biloxi, MS to Raymond Migues, Jr and Edna Migues. He was a 1983 graduate of Ocean Springs High School. After high school, Ray served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. After serving in the Navy, he settled in Ocean Springs and raised three children.
In years past, Ray loved bowling and playing darts. But Ray had a love for cars. He had been retired from Biloxi School System for less than one year. His gift to himself was a 2015 Camaro. He was a quiet man who loved his family.
Ray is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Migues, Jr; grandparents, Raymond Migues Sr and Paula Migues and Marcial and Esperanza Jimenez; three uncles, Jerry Migues, Harold Migues, and Marcial Jimenez Jr; three aunts, Annabelle Kozlowski, Laura Mae Marie, and Lucy Flores.
He is survived by his three children, Tasha, Katelyn, and Jonathon Migues; his grandchildren, Preston Harris and Sebastian Wamsley; his mother, Edna Migues; siblings, Anthony (Leigh) Migues, Lisa (Michael) Webber, Leonard Flores, and Teresa (Ron) Edward; the mother of his children, Stacy Migues; two uncles; an aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
