Reginald Lynn “Reggie” Darnell, 71, a native and longtime resident of Biloxi, MS passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Glen Oaks Nursing Center in Lucedale, MS after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Mr. Darnell was born on April 14, 1949 and was a graduate of Biloxi High School. He was employed with Civil Service at the Biloxi V.A. Hospital as a Nurses Aide. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Rita Darnell; and his brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Betty Darnell. Mr. Darnell’s survivors include his brother, Gerard Darnell and his brother and sister-in-law, James and Ginger Darnell. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Katherine Cooper for everything she has done and to the staff at Glen Oaks Nursing Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi is honored to serve this family.
