Richard C. Miller, Sr.

Richard C. Miller, Sr., 87, died on Monday, November 2, 2020 at home. Richard was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and Ocean Springs. Richard was born on February 9, 1933 in Biloxi. He attended Biloxi schools. Richard worked for Delchamps, Winn Dixie and D’Iberville High School. Richard married Mary Rita Camp in 1953 and they raised their six children in D’Iberville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Elisha and Alice Miller; his sister, Louise Firth; his daughter-in-law, Sharon Miller; his great-grandson, Elijah Jacob Salcido; and his beloved wife, Mary Rita Miller. Richard is survived by his children, Richard Miller, Jr., Catherine Miller-Job (Chris), John Miller (Barbara), Lori Miller Milstead (Kevin), Leo Miller (Candy) and Dorothy Miller Murphy (Donald); his grandchildren, Lisa, Melissa, Christina, Joey, Michael, Justin, Megan, Brandon, Haley and Jason; six great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Genevieve, Grace (Eddie), Doris (John), Joan and Cecelia. Due to COVID-19 concerns, services have been cancelled. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
